Glad that I watch this movie that contain comedy. I was watching this movie after busy work. The director made so much effort to put some of comedy. I have read and watched drama that based from this novel too. Then they prepare the dim sum to order, and serve it hot out of the steamer. They bring you a menu with what they serve, and you pick it like a sushi menu. The story line of this movie based novel "Zhu Xian". But what I can tell you is that the plot of this film is not that bad, the acting is quite good and the special effects used are fine. So, even it's not that serious, but it's still watchable and I enjoyed it a lot.All in all, I rarely watch around 2 hours run-time Chinese films.
That being said, comedy is sometimes necessary. Priced reasonable, and excellent flavors and quality. But as for the one who loves to watch more serious films, I'd say this one is not that much serious. I wonder how and why did they give such an English title?Talking about title, the title says Zhu Xian 1. In the other words, those two titles are completely opposite. "Jade Dynasty" doesn't have anything to do with the word "Zhu Xian".
